Labiomental folds are located between the mouth and the chin.
They bear a close relation to nasolabial fold. These folds, which leave the sides of the nose to join the corners of the lips arise from the shifting of the skin/fat complex in the cheeks.
The skin/fat complex bumps into the orbicular muscle which is found around the moth, to form nasolabial fold. Moreover, the labiomental folds appear as this movement is extended, as do jowls. The face loses its oval shape, grows hollow and looks harder.
